About Kristi L. Andersen, CFP®

For over twenty years, Kristi Andersen has been helping individuals and businesses navigate their most important financial decisions.  Whether helping small business owners make strategic choices about new financial products, or guiding people through critical transitions, Kristi is known for her ability to make financial planning approachable and meaningful at every stage of life.

Kristi served as Vice President of Client Services at the American Express Asset Management Group, where she worked with corporations, small businesses, foundations, endowments, and individuals for 19 years.  During this time, Kristi's team was ranked #1 among all investment managers by the Private Investor Institute in the 1995 survey for client service. Kristi was also named to the list of Twin Cities Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Managers  for 2008.

Kristi joined AdvisorNet Financial as a financial advisor because in her words "the firm provides a wealth of resources that help me give my clients unbiased, thoughtful and objective advice with integrity at every stage.  The ability to serve people wherever they are in their financial lives is very important to me."  The firm also offers extensive experience in financial services for business, providing in-depth solutions for a variety of industry environments.

Kristi is a Certified Financial Planner™.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. In addition, she is a licensed life, health and accident insurance agent, Investment Advisor Representative and holds her securities registrations with Financial Network.

Giving Back. Kristi is a firm believer in participating fully in her community.  She leads the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Ministry at her church, providing holiday gifts to the children of parents who are currently incarcerated.  She spearheads the Life Coaches for Kids mentoring program for at-risk children, and she speaks to numerous communities, and women's and girls' groups about taking charge of their financial futures.  She has also served as President of Financial Women International, as well as Trustee for the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation.  Kristi is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota.
